Homo Faber 2024 invites you to discover the craftsmanship behind the objects that accompany life’s most precious moments.

Carefully selected by the Michelangelo Foundation, the magnificent objects on display are handcrafted by talented craftspeople from all over the world. Get a chance to meet some of the artisans and enjoy live demonstrations.

Beyond the walls of Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Homo Faber in Città invites you to enrich your experience by exploring craft across Venice. Over 70 local artisans will throw open their workshop doors welcoming you to step behind the scenes and discover the tools, materials and skills mastered to bring to life contemporary objects, some which reflect age-old Venetian traditions, others which capture the spirit of Venice in a new way. It is a rare chance to visit the workshops for free without pre-booking specified hours.
